Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, the cookies Office Connect sets, and how you can control them.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. We use cookies and similar technologies (local storage, web beacons) for the purposes described below.
2. Categories we use
Strictly necessary
Required for the platform to function. You cannot opt out of these without losing access to features. Includes:
oc_session— your signed-in session, served Secure + HttpOnly + SameSite=Lax. Lifetime: up to 7 days.- OTP and CSRF helpers used during sign-in and email-change flows. Short-lived (minutes).
Analytics (optional)
Helps us understand how the platform is used. We anonymise IP addresses where supported by the analytics provider and configure cookies with SameSite=Lax and the Secure flag. Currently used:
- Google Analytics 4 — pageviews, navigation events, basic device telemetry.
- Vercel Web Vitals — Core Web Vitals (LCP, INP, CLS) for performance monitoring.
Where required by law, analytics cookies are set only after you grant consent.
Functional
Remember your interface preferences (e.g. project filter chip, last-viewed tab). These do not identify you across sites.
3. Third-party cookies
Some pages embed scripts from third parties (Google Analytics, Vercel) that may set their own cookies. We do not control these cookies; refer to the provider's privacy policy for detail.
4. How to control cookies
- Most browsers allow you to delete or block cookies through the settings menu. Be aware that blocking strictly-necessary cookies will break sign-in.
- You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the official opt-out browser add-on.
- California residents may exercise their right to opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of personal information at any time. Office Connect does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising as those terms are defined under the CCPA / CPRA.
5. Do Not Track
Office Connect honours the Global Privacy Control ("GPC") signal. When your browser sends GPC, we treat it as a CCPA opt-out signal for any "sale" or "share" categories even though we do not engage in those activities.
6. Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
